Robert helps families and individuals transfer their wealth and values to their loved ones with minimal taxes and expenses, while avoiding probate and promoting peace of mind in the family. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration.

His clients rely on his holistic approach to navigate challenging legal issues. Robert is passionate about his work and strives to ensure that his clients peacefully pass on their legacy, wishes and wealth to their loved ones and favorite charities. He takes great pride in having a positive relationship with every client and creates a comfortable and reassuring experience throughout the estate planning process.

Robert received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, cum laude, from Santa Clara University and his law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law. He has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1998.

Prior to shifting the focus of his practice to estate planning, Robert had a long and successful career as an employment rights attorney, helping employees preserve their jobs and secure fair treatment from their employers.

Robert has been active with a number of bar associations and community groups, including La Raza Lawyers Association, the Asian Pacific Bar Association of Silicon Valley, BAYMEC, the SCCBA Rainbow Committee, and the MS Society. He is currently a member of the Silicon Valley Bar Association, an organization primarily serving estate planning practitioners, and of the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA).

Robert serves on the board of the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center in San Jose, which provides free legal assistance to individuals in need, and he regularly volunteers as a supervising attorney for its Workers’ Rights Clinic. In 2010, Robert won the prestigious Pro Bono Award from the SCCBA.

When Robert is not working, he enjoys gardening, playing the piano, running, working out, and spending time with his spouse and family.
